Crossing eras—rethinking Chrome Hearts through sustainable craft

This table reimagines the iconic Chrome Hearts cross as a sculptural, sustainable furniture piece. Made entirely from reclaimed materials—discarded plywood, pine, fence posts, and repurposed glass—it merges luxury craft with environmental consciousness. Inspired by Chrome Hearts’ gothic aesthetic and metalwork, I used techniques like wood carving, burning, and nail detailing to evoke ornamentation and depth. The result is a piece that questions traditional notions of value, blending transparency, craft, and sustainability in contemporary design.
